Focal Lengths of MOBOTIX Lenses

The focal lengths of MOBOTIX lenses are always relating to 35mm camera format.

For example, the MOBOTIX L20-L23 Super Wide-Angle lens has a true focal length

of 3.6mm. Converted to 35mm format, this translates to a 20mm lens on a 6MP

image sensor and a 23mm lens on a 5MP image sensor. You can use this focal

length to easily compare image formats and angles of view. In addition, you can

set this value on common 35mm or digital still cameras to the focal length (Lxx) of a

MOBOTIX lens to check if the resulting image suits the requirements for this camera.
