1.2 Technical Specifications
1.2.1 Lens Options
MOBOTIX currently oers five standard lenses with M14 thread for the D15D that can
each be combined with a day or night sensor (color or black and white). Since MOBOTIX
cameras are backlight-proof, none of these lenses requires a mechanical auto iris.
This makes the cameras extremely robust and maintenance-free.
The L25 Super Wide-Angle lens has very little distortion and delivers good image quality,
even when the maximum digital zoom is used. If the D15D is mounted in the corner of a
room with this lens, the complete room will be visible on the image.
In the case of the special D15D-Pano model, two L25 lenses are installed in such a way
that the camera can optically combine the two 82° images via the software to form a
single large and corrected panorama image.
D15D with Standard Lenses and M14 Thread
Five dierent MOBOTIX lenses are available for every sensor unit:

• L51 Wide Angle with 39° image angle (horizontal)
• L76 Telephoto with 27° image angle (horizontal)
