2.9.2 Determining The Installation Position

Before installing the door station, you need to decide exactly where to install it. The

system is generally installed so that the height from the ground to the upper edge of

the frame is at least 1.60 m (5 ft 3 in). Depending on the frame size and orientation, the

camera module T24-CamCore must always be placed in the top left position in the

Siedle frame.

The system oers options for both on-wall and in-wall installation. Dierent installation

sets are available for the two dierent options. The camera module T24-CamCore can

be used universally for both installation options.

In addition to the (most popular) vertical mounting option,

horizontal mounting of the Vario frame is also possible by

rotating the camera module correspondingly when placing

it into the installation frame.

Detailed instructions for in-wall and on-wall installation of the Vario system are included

in the Siedle packaging.
